- Our reclaimed solid Oak Whiskey Barrels half’s have been used in some of Scotland’s distilleries and still have the aroma of the whiskey that was once aged in them! Also known as the ASB (American Standard Barrel) which refers to the standard size of cask used in the American bourbon whiskey industry, these barrels were originally used for maturing bourbon. As the casks could not be re-used to make bourbon, these barrels were then given a second life maturing scotch whiskey.
- As the barrels are reclaimed, it means they are all individual in appearance and size, making them a unique and individual addition to any garden or home.
