DELIVERY INFO

For our smaller items we offer standard delivery at a charge of £4.95 and for our larger items £10.95. We do also offer an express service if your need your order within 1 to 2 working days.

If you have ordered extra large or bulky products weigh more than 30 kg it will require a specific delivery quote. This will be emailed to you after placing your order, and the amount must be paid before we can ship your items. Please select this at checkout.

Please keep in mind that these delivery charges are only applicable to mainland UK, and certain remote areas may have additional delivery charges after purchase.

VAT is already included with all our retail products, set at the national value added tax rate.

Hydro Herb Kit

Grow organic herbs without using soil with these hydroponic growing kits! Made as responsibly as possible from re-purposed wine bottles sourced in the UK that are cut and ground by hand.

  • All of the parts in the kit are either recycled and recyclable or entirely biodegradable.
  • Made using varieties of organic seed that are bred to live longer that cut and recover quicker allowing for them to be harvested repeatedly.
  • Carefully sourced to try and ensure as little environmental impact as possible.
  • Within 7-10 days the seeds will begin to germinate, and within 7-8 weeks given enough light they should be ready to pick and cook with.
  • Without the use of soil, these kits produce little mess which makes them perfect for indoor gardening in a small space.
Care 
  • Watering the kits could not be simpler, just keep an eye on the water line and top up when needed. On average there is around two weeks between water refills.
  • The kits are best placed on a bright windowsill to get as much clear sunlight as possible.
  • The kits contain certified organic and vegan friendly nutrient solution manufactured in the UK and is enough for approximately 2 years. Always add a few drops of the nutrient solution every time water is added and this plant should give months of steady growing and harvesting.
  • Each kit comes with spare parts so that if something does go wrong then the process can be started again easily.
Technical Information
  • The wine bottles that form the largest part of the kit are reused rather than recycled, minimising any carbon production from melting the glass down or transportation. 
  • Recycled capillary matting is used and the plastic bottles in the kit are also made from recycled plastic.
  • The Jiffy Pellets are made of coir (ground coconut husk) rather than peat, so that there is no contribution to the reduction of peat bogs.
  • The cork lid/place mat comes from renewable sources in Europe.
  • The terracotta pebbles used in the kit along with the cork are both biodegradable.
